Agency Funds

What is an Agency Fund?

Agency funds are investment accounts held at the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation and set up by a nonprofit organization for its own benefit. Your fund will be invested alongside the assets of the Foundation and our other fund holders and gain investment income over time. Your organization can then use the agency fund and income to build long-term assets or serve as a home for reserve funds. CACF serves as an intermediary to bring financial expertise, administrative support, and other benefits to help you make the most of your investment.
