
The Charlottesville Area Community Foundation (Community Foundation) is pleased to welcome Alexandra Kwiatkoski as our new Operations Manager. Alexandra will work closely with the operations team to manage systems and procedures that enhance the Community Foundation’s efficiency while ensuring that operational functions align with the foundation’s strategic goals.
“Alexandra is an avid member of the Charlottesville community and her dedication to making positive social and environmental impact is admirable. Her passion for creating inclusive and welcoming environments make her a wonderful addition to the team,” Brennan Gould, president and CEO of the Community Foundation, said. “Alexandra’s experience in philanthropy, fundraising, and local nonprofits make her a perfect fit for the position. We’re delighted that she has chosen to join the foundation.”
Alexandra most recently served as the Office Manager at DEPT, where she supported a diverse team of people and strengthened company culture by cultivating intentional relationships. She has also served as the Philanthropy Program Coordinator at the Virginia Chapter of The Nature Conservancy, where she provided planning, scheduling, and administrative support across several teams.
“I am very happy to be joining the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation team,” Alexandra said. “This organization involves many driven and compassionate people from whom I have a lot to learn. I’m excited to contribute to the foundation’s equity forward mission and to create positive change in our community!”
Alexandra holds a BA in International Studies with concentrations in Environmental Affairs and Global Development from Virginia Tech. She volunteers at Twice Is Nice and serves as a Piedmont Group Executive Committee Member of the Sierra Club. Alexandra is an animal rights and environmental activist. In her free time, she likes going on walks with her husband and their dog. She also enjoys thrifting, crafting, reading, playing pickleball, and practicing yoga.
